Ambos derivam da decomposição de resíduos orgânicos, principalmente vegetais.&lt;br /&gt;Fazer canalizações de gás nas cidades é uma redundância cara, perigosa e comprometedora.&lt;br /&gt;Não existe nada que a energia do gás proporcione que não seja viável com a eléctrica.&lt;br /&gt;As canalizações de gás, nas cidades, misturam-se com as de electricidade, com as de esgotos, com as de água e outras, para além de se arriscarem também a invadir patrimónios arqueológicos. É uma mistura explosiva. Sobretude se tivermos em conta que estas diversas canalizações são geridas por entidades distintas as quais, muitas vezes, não se consultam umas às outras antes de abrir valas.&lt;br /&gt;Com o gás engarrafado, apesar de perigoso, cada instalação domiciliária é zelada por uma família.&lt;br /&gt;Com o gás canalizado em rede, existem zonas cuja responsabilidade é de todos e de ninguém: a via pública os átrios dos prédios, etc.&lt;br /&gt;O gás pode, perfeitamente, ser queimado em centrais eléctricas sendo a energia distribuída pelas instalações (públicas e privadas) já existentes.&lt;br /&gt;Numa época em que se impõe diminuír a dependência de combustíveis fósseis e a electricidade é a energia cuja fabricação é a mais flexível ou seja, as linhas de transporte e as canalizações são as mesmas, quer esta provenha de uma fonte poluidora quer de fontes cada vez mais limpas, as canalizações urbanas de gás só se compreendem se o seu objectivo for comprometer autarquias e população em Para voltar a separá-los é necessário devolver essa energia.&lt;br /&gt;Logo, se não leva uma botija de hidrogénio no carro e faz mesmo lá a dissociação da água em estes dois componentes, está a consumir alguma forma de energia que podia ser utilizada directamente na locomoção e com menos perdas.&lt;br /&gt;Por outro lado, se essa energia for utilizada em um local fixo, decompondo a água em oxigénio e hidrogénio, engarrafando cada qual (ou apenas o &lt;strong&gt;H,&lt;/strong&gt; pois o &lt;strong&gt;O2&lt;/strong&gt;, basta libertá-lo na atmosfera) no estado líquido, em botijas de alta pressão, evita-se ter que fabricar redundâncias de equipamentos e ter que transportá-los nos veículos. No projecto dos seus circuitos eléctricos , o grau de dificuldade em implantar esta função é igual, seja com um interrupetor de descanso lateral &lt;strong&gt;normalmente fechado&lt;/strong&gt;, seja com um &lt;strong&gt;normalmente aberto&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;Logo, para testar se existe alguma avaria nesta função que esteja a afectar a ignição, não basta simplesmente "arrancar" o interrupetor de descanso lateral.
